Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 17 May 2023 - Vattanac Bank continued its branch expansion across Cambodia by launching its 35th branch, the Preah Monivong Branch. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, along with the unveiling of the branch logo, was participated by Neak Okhna Sam Ang, Chairman, Neak Oknha Chhun Leang, President, Mr. Anthony Chin, Chief Executive Officer, and management of Vattanac Bank. They were also joined by Mr. Heng Bomakara, First Deputy Director General, representative of the National Bank of Cambodia, His Excellency Neak Oknha Ly Yong Phat, Personal Assistant to the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Lok Chumteav Hul Kanha, and other distinguished guests to officiate the opening ceremony.
Preah Monivong Branch features a new aesthetic design that is clean, energetic and welcoming. The experience of customers is also improved with an upgraded queue system that customers just need to scan the QR for their queue number and check for updates on their phone. The branch will cater to the wide range of customer needs especially in the Preah Monivong Boulevard which is a bustling and vibrant business area.
It is a full-service branch that occupies the ground and 1st floor of a 10-storey building. All retail and commercial banking products and services such as deposits, loans, fund transfers, trade finance, ATMs, cards, digital banking and other financial products are available here.
“The newly designed and renovated Preah Monivong Branch serves as a model for our prospective branches. The concept is to have a clean, energetic, and fresh look in line with Vattanac Bank's new vision. At present, we already have 35 branches located at 20 provinces and city. This year, we are planning to open 7 more branches and we will have a total of 42 branches. Then, we are planning to open 11 more branches and we will have a total of 53 branches by 2024 across all provinces and city. Remarkably, this rapid increase of our branch opening will provide easy access to all of our current and prospective customers across the country by 2024. We will continue to expand our services to improve financial inclusion to offer additional banking knowledge to customers,” said Anthony Chin, CEO of Vattanac Bank.
